Default Warning to drivers! Beware! MUST READ!

My Rig broke down on the way through Texas. I called a man out to repair. (EDITED)

(EDITED) responded to call and arrived. He was unable to repair the truck. When I told him to forget it and leave, that I would call someone else, he attacked me. Threw me to the ground and assaulted me. He then went to his truck and grabbed a steel bar and came back and proceeded to damage my truck.

The responding officers arrested the man. And guess what, this man has a rap sheet a mile long for assaulting drivers. He was even charged with pulling a gun on another customer.

Drivers beware. If you break down any where near Longview Texas, do not call these people out. Next time this man may just kill someone!

Just a side question - did you tell him to leave without paying him? Not saying he was justified or anything.

No, I was willing to pay his standard rate for coming. Even though he only looked at the truck for less than 10 minutes before he gave up on it and said he didn't know what it was. Besides, it's not like I was the first person he attacked, according to the people that came, he has a long history of doing this. They said he was well known for his temper.

I can't help but wonder how many of those other people were women drivers.

Actually Hat Rak, yes I was injured by this man. Not to mention the damage done to my rig. I am sure he will be doing some time over this, assault with a deadly weapon, and a couple other charges he earned himself.

How come there is nothing in the longview newspaper about this? Seems this would be a pretty big story, especially in a relatively small city like longview.
Im not saying what you are saying isnt true. However this is something the moderators should check out. I wouldnt be putting someones full name out here unless I was abosolutely certain that this really happened. It looks like that company is a pretty big company in longview.

I agree. With no story and no way to verify, the names have been edited out. If you have a newspaper story with his name in it, that's one thing. But you are skating on thin legal ice without any way to back it up. Not saying it didn't happen...just saying you need to be careful.

Call the local police and see if the man is still in jail. If it's proof you want, I will gladly post all police reoprts/ court reports as I get them. Call the company and see if they care to comment on it. It happened, it's real and yes he does have a record of doing this to his customers.

There are places you can go on the net to get back ground checks, check it out and see for yourself. This is not a joke, this is not a lie, I am not a displeased customer wanting to hurt this guy because he tried to overcharge me or something. I don't want anyone else to go through this with this man. He is DANGEROUS! He is crazy! And for the safety of the public, he needs to be stopped. I intend to see that he is prosocuted to FULL extent of the law.

There was a witness, we are trying to locate. It was a vehicle passing by on the freeway that stoped, but only for moment, the driver took off again quickly without ever getting out of his/her car.

Yeah, you would think. Of course, it may not have hit the paper yet, if it only happened within the last day.
