Warning to drivers! Beware! MUST READ!

Like I said, no one is disagreeing with you. But if you're going to post the guy's name, you'll need to have something to back it up. Right, wrong, or indifferent, that's just the way it is. I'd be a little careful posting police reports due to possible confidentiality issues, but if you've got a newspaper clipping or an online story link, definitely post it.

I don't know, Sheepdancer. I just saw the time, and date when the OP posted. I assumed, it was not too long before then.
I'm back out. :P

Yesterday. I will be calling the local paper in a moment. Your right, something needs to be said about this publicly. People need to know that this man is dangerous. What happens if next victims happens to be a woman, or elderly drivers?

I read the post before it was edited and remembered the name mentioned. I looked it up in the online yellow pages and for what it is worth there is a truck repair business listed by that name in that area.

No one is calling you a liar. We just live in an information age where things are very easy to find out. If this is true, by all means, post whatever you want. Like I said earlier, (the company that you said) is a pretty big company, if what you said is true, congradulations, you will soon be a very rich man. START THE LAWSUITS FLYING!
Now with that said, the gregg county jail website lists no (Name that you said) in jail right now. However they might not update it very quickly. Also the last time someone with the name (name that you said) was in that jail was about 6 months ago, and that guy is now in prison for 5 years.

Yes there is, give them a call if you care to. I just called the editor to the local paper and am awaiting her return call. Feel free to call the jail and see if they still have the guy locked up. There will be proof, and then I hope that this man's information will be all over the net. It is my fear that this guy is gonna kill somebody! Drivers need to know, they need to be made aware. I sure don't want to see some kid with out a parent because of this guy.
Sheep, the man introduced himself with the name I gave you. Call the company, ask them about it! If they care to comment. Please! Check with Duncun services inc,(sorry for posting another name, just trying to get you the proof you desire) they were the ones who came out to tow the rig and were very professional and concerned. There is proof to be found.

You need to calm down a bit. No one is calling you a liar...everyone is trying to get you to handle things correctly.
Put it this way. You make your post, tell what happened, and list his name. He's arrested, it goes to court, but for whatever reason the charges are dropped. He comes back to this post, prints up his evidence, then sues you for slander. Guess what. He would likely win. And you would become a victim for the second time. It happens. All anyone is saying is be careful and handle things correctly.

There is a flaw in your editing program. You edited the name of the person and company from the original post. However, when looking at Rev's quote of the original post, the names and addresses are included. Apparently, your quote option does not pick up the edit. You might want to have your Geek Squad look into that.

Wow - I'm asking a modulator to edit my post. Whoda thunk? |
