I only took one of the pills. I hated them! I'd rather just take the pain then feel as screwed up as those pain pills did. I love how after the operation they give you a list of things that you cannot do, then the physical therapist reads the list and does every darn one of them!

The only thing they didn't have was leeches and thumbscrews

Hey hoser.... hows the knee coming along?
I know the surgery hurts, but does the knee itself feel any better?

No, the shin bone hurts like HELL...lol They drilled holes and put screws in.
They didn't do a knee replacement, they reconstructed the ACL, and took the rest of the other muniscis out. All the arthritis is still there, and if this doesn't work, then they will replace the knee. Like I said, it hurts like hell...lol

Well...get 'ya a bite stick and a bottle of cheap rock gut and tough it out!!

Seriously...I wish you a speedy recovery and hope it is not too unbearable for you.

I empathise more than you might know...having been informed I'll be "walking a mile in your moccasins" here in a few years......

Either way...get well soon and stay in out of this damn snow---no shoveling for you today!

Man...I feel your pain; or more accurately, have felt your pain. Six knee surgeries (3 per knee) including the one you just had. I know the pain your going thru. What I kept repeating was..."short term pain for long term gain".

Be forewarned that you might not see a steady improvement during your rehab but more like a series of plateaus where you don't seem to get better for a while then all of a sudden something happens (scar tissue breaks up etc) and you move to another higher & better level. So don't get discouraged if you don't seem to be getting better....YOU WILL!!
