I like only the larger Volvos...the 670's are too small inside.

Im driving a Pete 386 right now and it has plenty of room, but I wish it had a pull out shelf to write on like the Volvo.....

I know a guy that has a VN 780, and that truck has so much room.
It's got power, and a very nice ride to boot. I just think it's an all around awesome tractor.

I have driven them all but a peterjunk, yes i am back with FFE, I could not take that damn KW anyway, well thats not why but in the kW I could reach over and open passenger door from the driver seat, no where to put my fridge in the bunk, not enough standing room in bunk, but that was a kW T600, what a piece of crap..... as for Mack, yes I like their dump trucks, thats all I ever drove of them , nice tuff trucks, but for a semi hmmm dunno..... been in a Eagle, yeah like what a hunk of junk, I drove a Volvo and did not like it one bit, very wierd truck, I driven an international and it would rattle you so much itts like I climbed a mounttain I was so drained, now for the freightliner, first one was a classic xl, no room just like a pete on te outside, look out the door to back up and all you see is chrome exhaust pipe, yeah was not easy to drive, the columbian and the centry are the most produced trucks on the market, I read and heard they are the most reliable as getting work done all the time... I asked tthe guys at a TA once what rig was in thhe shop the most, they said peterjunk, they also said look at the oil spots after one leaves the truck stop, hehehehe, but I like the freightliner by far for roomyness for sure, I can get out of driver seat and stand up, try that in a T600, yeah try getting into the bunk was a chore, not much room between the seats to squeeze in the bunk.. now I know why everyone that gets out of them are always so short, them midroofs or whatever they call them are not for large people, always see them short dudes get out and the hood is taller than they are, hehehehehehe now I know why.....

I had an 02 Mack vision when i was at Commercial Carriers, now UGLYMUTT, i know you say the century is roomy, and i don't disagree, having been in one, but that Mack was like a new york studio apartment inside, i could not believe how big they were, i think they had an '80 inch sleeper as a standard option, just take a look at one next time you see and you really get a good idea of how big they are. On another topic, and i know i've never talked to you before, but what brought you back to FFE, must have done something right to bring you back.

You think there is no room to get into the bunk in trucks today, we used to have crawl throughs with 36" bunks, and never BITCHED at all!!!

Pete 387 And The KW T-2000 are the best all round combination of room and ride quality second only to the long wheelbase Pete's and KW's ,but they lack the room ,but ride the best ....Sorry the freight liner rides like they forgot to put a suspension under the truck and just bolted the axles to the frame ,and the interior is just cheap the seats have one position no matter how far back you try to recline them ...uncomfortable...the truck leans hard in tight curves and corners at anything but a crawl speed ,and a Columbia is just a down scale POOR MANS version of a century with a set of Jackie Chan headlights . As for down time on the mechanical of the truck I don't see how freight liner could be any better than a Pete Or KW as they both run the same power trains from the same manufacturers ???
