Default New owner for Swift

Looks like Jerry Moyes is buying back Swift Transportation in a cash deal.
Moyes will assume $332,000,000.00 in Swift debt, and pay $31.55 per share to stock holders.

The only reason that Mr. Jerry has taken the action he has at swift is he feels that the company is going to the dogs and (as it is) he feels that he might as well be the one to lead it their. :asta:

That's the truth there. I'll admit, I've been contemplating going back to Swift for a little while now just for a regional account to keep me close to home while keeping my experience level current for my license. After hearing that the Board doubled back on the November decision to turn Jerry down though - well, I won't go near them. I preferred the changes that happened under Cunningham for the most part. Jerry's nearly about ready to retire or drop dead anyway, I wonder why he's messing with this now...
