I know the news does not support or want to have Ron Paul around. He talks about things that they do not support. Year after year he has attempted to get the US to stop funding the UN. You never hear about that.

Mental Health Testing for all Americans.....have you ever heard about that in the news? Ron Paul attempted to pass a bill to stop it. When our Representatives passed it anyway he then sent another bill to defund the program with American Tax dollars. You will not hear about this on the news.

All this stuff is in his weekly letters. I had never been on his web site before and I found the stuff very interesting!

well, if he doesn't have media support and coverage, how will he ever be heard and noticed?

talking about important issues, and not being heard by anybody, is not how you win an election. It is 'better' to talk 'blah' and be heard by everybody: that'll give you more chances to win. Isn't that what's happening now anyways?

 

I suppose that is true. But if people started supporting him more and more....he may just be to hard to ignore. I would not want him to waiver from his view that the Constitution should be our guide.

people support is not the only thing needed in today's elections.

We live in a society controlled by the media, pretty much. If the media does not cover somebody, they don't have much of a chance.


I thought the media was supposed to provide equal media coverage to all candidates, no?

of course, then we have media ADS, which cost money.

 

No! They do not. But with the debates and all he will have some media attention. And with the Internet that is most reliable source for media if people want to find out what is really going on.

Remember in the 1960's one of the Communist Goals was to take over the media. Our new Communist is the Global UN.

Two thoughts come to mind...I wish I could quote, but I do not remember well enough to do so, therefore I paraphrase...

I believe it was Herr Josef Goebbels who said the more ridiculous and outrageous the lie, the easier it is to make people accept it...and...

I cannot even remember who said this but...if you say something loudly enough and often enough people will believe it.

So the louder these clowns get (and the more often they repeat themselves) the LESS inclined I am to accept them!!!

and BTW, that Ron Paul site is pretty good....he has a newsletter as well. But he will never succeed or even be taken seriously...he makes too much sense!!!
