Local news last night reported that Dallas Texas Police were cracking down on truckers that were parking on streets, business parking lots, and other areas away from Truck Stops.
One "local business owner" was quoted as saying he was afraid of a "bad element" coming into the area. 8) Nobody mentioned however how long truckers had been parking in these areas or how come now it's a problem.

If I remember right, Dallas never allowed drivers to park their trucks anywhere. I know we had a problem with letting drivers bob tail to take random drug/alcohol test, I can't remember all the details about why etc.
All DOT/Cops are cracking down on truck drivers because of the number of deaths that involve truck drivers and the drug bust lately on the Mexico boarder. HAVE A MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS

Truth hurts.. if you cannot understand why truck drivers are not allowed anywhere BUT truckstops in Dallas.. Go visit them and see the scumbags that they attract! Also look for the many broken down fences and knocked down poles and large holes in the asphalt.
