Default Sleeping Bags vs Sheets and a Blanket

Just curious to know how many people use a sleeping bag and how many use sheets. This is for you OTR people who sleep in their truck a lot not those of you who only do it occasionally. I personally can't stand a
sleeping bag, sheets at least seem to help trick your mind into thinking
you are sleeping in a real bed.

I have always used sheets. I used to keep a sleeping bag in the truck in case it got really cold and the truck wasn't running. I think sheets are more comfortable.

Sheets and blankets but if you're stranded in the North you'd be very happy to have a Solar blanket with a sleeping bag along.

When I did OTR, I absolutely HAD to have sheets. Makes it feel more like home. I also took the time to make my bed after every use. Helps keep the cab looking a little bit less "bus shelter" like.

In my own truck (not a trainers truck or a temp loaner) I used sheets and blankets but I also kept a sleeping bag in the truck.

The bag came in handy anytime I had to temporarily swap trucks for a day or two or anytime something went wrong with the heat.

BTW: The bag I have is one of those that completely unzips and can be used more like a heavy duty comforter if need/want to.

In the winter, Bunk warmer, flannel sheets, BIG down comforter and of course the old ponch liner in between. Summertime it's all cotton!
