COLT......I don't know...I pulled that photo out of cyberspace.
From the color in the rock, it could be Zion Park area.

Here are a couple photos of my hometown and back road
taken last month.

Wow! Roadhog, those are some beautiful shots. I've been looking at getting an inexpensive digital camera. What are you guys using?

Thank you!
nrvsreck...I'm using a Fujifilm Finepix S 5000.

This is a photo of a house I lived in as a baby.
You see lots of steep snow roofs here, and field stone work.
I worked as a stone mason and just did some stone work last Spring.

This is an Auditorium built in 1924 still in use.
It is actually a Basketball gym for Lake Leelanau St. Mary's School.
They are our rivals in a neighboring town 7 miles from me.

Another road I travel when I can. The Skyway.
I grew up flying because of my Dad, but
I do not have my own license anymore. Too expensive.
This shot is looking South toward my home.
The first thing you see is the Lake Michigan shoreline.
That long white strip...are clay cliffs reaching several
hundred feet above the beach.

Do camel spiders bite? They look intimidating but I hate spiders...
