Is Oasis even relevant anymore? They certainly aren't over here in the US of A.

Indeed, your honourable Reverance, did they ever have any relevance?

Not really.

They never really caught on over here. They had a hit or two, and then disappeared.

Personally your Reverance, I could never tolerate them.
Their music is a very bad copy of the Beatles and their attitude is appalling.
Without impressionable kids buying their crap, those Gallagher brothers would be nothing but a couple of Twockers in Manchester.

I could post a ton of stats about them, but you won't change your mind about anything. Hell, I'll post them anyway.

First two releases sold 27.5 million. First release is the UK's 3rd fastest selling debut album. The second release is the UK's 3rd biggest selling album. 49 million total sales worldwide.

Just because they are not popular in the USA, only means the music buyers here are idiots. Oasis isn't played on the radio or MTV, so they'll never sell what they did when MTV and radio gave them airtime.

And for the record, that was a stupid thing to say. It's not even representative of most anti war opinions.

Some fan polls:

Observer Music Monthly 100 Greatest British Albums poll, June 2004 — #19 Definitely Maybe, #70 (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

Channel 4 100 Greatest Albums of All Time, April 2005 — #6 Definitely Maybe, #15 (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

NME's 100 Best Albums of All Time, 2003 — #13 Definitely Maybe, #37 (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

Q Magazine's 100 Greatest Albums of All Time, 2003 — #8 Definitely Maybe, #22 (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

Q Magazine's 50 Greatest Bands List, 2004 — #13 Oasis
Virgin Radio's 100 Greatest British Artists, 2003 — #3 Oasis

Q Magazine's 100 Greatest Gigs, 2004 — #3 Oasis - Knebworth 1996

SPIN magazine's Top 100 Albums from 1985-2005 — #28 Definitely Maybe

Q Magazine's 50 Best British Albums Ever, July 2003 — #1 Definitely Maybe

Q Magazine Reader's 100 Greatest Albums, January 2006 — #5 Definitely Maybe, #8 (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

NME's/Book of British Singles and Albums, June 2006 — #1 Definitely Maybe, #5 (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
(What's The Story) Morning Glory? named 376th greatest album of all time on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums list

Q Magazine's 100 Greatest Songs Ever poll, October 2006 — #1 Live Forever, #2 Wonderwall, #20 Don't Look Back in Anger, #35 Champagne Supernova

I realize you're joking, but the rest of my comment is very important wrt the state of music on America today.
