Slept crummy last night, of course. Well, there is no real 'contract' to this farm w/the Landlord; -nothing that holds us here beyond a months notice, which is nice. Hes very easy going and in fact doesnt get uptight if you pay late or anything; plus he's easy to talk to/understanding. The only reason we are here is b/c my horses were already here when the 1st owner died; then when this guy bought it, he was like "You may as well live there too" etc. We never signed anything, etc. Probably not good, but that was 8-9 yrs ago.
I'm sure you are right about the cops; more folks just need to report every little thing and maybe that will lead to something later on. Its a shame really; I've lived here all my life; when I was a kid everyone knew everyone; no locked doors, no crimes, etc. In fact, I remember when people in the cities never heard of our town; now we are practically a suburb! sucks.

I might have done some editing, but my power went out. And because of the storm, this morning was the first chance I had to get back to her again. I felt she was going to have a rough night, besides the storm. Hope that is worth a cup of green tea. :P

That storm actually was south of here- did not see even a flake.
BTW D.dice; I don't mind the chitt-chatt; if I didn't want it, I would not have posted on here. I know there is nothing you guys can DO; I may be ditzy, but not 100% idiotic. Point is; I was having a 'bad day' yesterday w/all my new info about the neighborhood; and as far as I am concerned, 'truckers' are typically the most down-to-earth folks that there is; and usually have sound advice.

I was just informed that there will be a town meeting monday night. I also talked to some of the new neighbors and they have all been ripped off while their houses were being built! A couple others had stories to tell too; so maybe something can be done now.

Just a mini-update; A whole lotta theivin' still goes on around here, and those losers are in and out of jail every week. There have been a lot of town meetings, etc. But the 'newly elected' officials wont come to hear us b/c they are 'too busy'. Anyway, the old farmer I mentioned before, he is up for 3 years of prison time for trying to protect his neighbors property, which is real crummy considering he caught them in the act, and the deputy turned a blind eye n' let em' go. So anyway, it was on our local news tonight, which may or may not be of any help.
