I agree that the women were heading towards the mosque,initially; But , once the troops opened fire, they fled. It was whilst taking flight that the two women were killed.
I,m trying like hell to download the video from ITN News that shows this.
I,m not trying to condone what the women did, as they were clearly being antagonistic towards the Israelis; However I reiterate my previous statement that should British troops act in such a manner, I would be disgusted. Its only my opinion, and I respect yours too :wink:

 

The current invasion of Israeli troops and tanks into the palestinian controlled area was in direct response to, and with the intent of stopping or retaliating for, the lobbing of rockets into Israel. These are REAL Weapons of Mass (and indiscriminant) Destruction and Terror. They have repeatedly warned Hamas that they would do so.

This is NO different than the U.S. invading Iraq to stop the attacks on our soil from THEIR rockets containing WMD's! And the fact that they are shooting their OWN people to stop us, is of course, expected!

With the way things are these days in general, why would anything like that surprise you anymore? Its a sad, daily reality in our world, that will likely get worse before it gets better. :sad:

Did you guys see that Hamas uses ball barrings in their war heads? The sole purpose being nothing but to kill as many people as possible.

My hat is off to Israel, they get shit on constantly by the entire world and they take it all because they want nothing more than peace.

Their army while not as big is as advanced as the United States. They could wipe the floor with all these countries if they wanted to, but they don't because they just want to get a long. Treaty after treaty they've signed and lost land all in the interest of peace. They bend over backwards yet Hamas and other terrorist organizations continue to blow up bombs on busses filled with children, and lob missles into cities.

I truely feel for the Israeli people and their country.

 

And so do I.
Surrounded by enemies and constantly attacked by terrorists;I do feel for them. But, that does not excuse shooting unarmed women, in my eyes. :sad:

 

That was my reaction, as well. Thanks for making this post. The film I saw of the incident showed the courage of the women...

Nope...I'm pretty sure that standing in front of people with guns and their target is called "stupid".

 

The women were running to their sons, as I understand it.

I think it's too easy to take sides... rather than to look at the actual events.
