I haven't been well, and I didn't get back here. Sorry.

Yes, that's the show.

I so want you to watch it because I think it is sooo funny. I think it would make you laugh... but I might be wrong.

There's one sort of normal girl, and one sort of normal guy in a group of six friends.

I better go read some more of the posts and see if anyone has watched it, and offered an opinion...

Coupling is great. I have all 4 seasons. Jeff is an odd one... I was disappointed when they wrote him out and then didn't even give him a BIO in the Cast credits....
Oh no! They write Jeff out? I guess my local station must be running reruns only. (they're probably cheaper.)

Darn it. He was so completely ... perfect.

I'm SOOOO glad you enjoy it!

(I don't know the other shows you mention...

I like one with Judy Dench in it, I forget the name of it. I'm not sure young people would like that one, though, since Judy Dench and her character are a bit older.

Wow, you know a huge amount of them. Most of these aren't ones I know at all. I think I know Good Neighbors. I loved that when I lived in England, if it's from many years ago.

But have you not watched Coupling? Or, do you mean you prefer all of the above to Coupling?

I've never been big on Are You Being Served... I find it irritating. So, I suppose if you think that's riotously funny, you could just as easily not like Coupling.

Thank you for finding the link.

Well now I'm talking about shows in general not just comedy's. As for my favorites it would be NCIS, House, Simpson's, King of the Hill, Every Body Loves Raymond (not running any more), and Prison Break there are a few more but I can"t think of there names right now.

I like NCIS, too. I used to like House, but then it was... I forget... but I thought the concept for one of their shows was objectionable so I stopped watching it... now I can't even remember what I objected to!

Thanks.

(I do like the "concept" of Prison Break. The whole map thing... It must be on at the same time as something I'm devoted to, or I would be watching it... I'm pretty sure.)

You do a good immitation of the Uppa accent.

My poor little son, speaking of accents.

I named him Miguel, because all of the mountains here in New Mexico are named in Spanish: The Sandias, The Sangre de Cristo...

And I love the name, Michael.

I had no idea that Miguel said with an Uppa accent in England sounds like, Me gal.

So my poor little son, when asked his name, used to say, "My name's Miguel, but I'm a boy."

Eventually, when I went to pick him up from school and couldn't find him, one of his friends pointed to him and said, "There he is, there's Peter."

He'd changed his name to Peter.
