While your link is very informative, however it applies to selling a weapon, not caring a weapon. In addition that law has never been tested in court. The constitution is quite clear; the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. As for the Supreme Court says.

I wondered why because I had my concealed weapon permit and all the legal documentation. They said it doesnt matter, dont cross the state lines with a weapon.

If one holds a Federal Firearms permit, who is to tell that driver that they cant? The Company they work for cant, but what the company doesnt know doesnt hurt them.
Just so people know, Federal permits/laws supercede all state and county, and city laws. Please do correct me if i am wrong.

I'm pretty sure any company out there can make a no firearms policy and not get in any trouble. A private company can make any policy they want (to an extent of course!) and thier employees will have to follow it! You don't like the company policies...find another company to work for.

Just my $0.02

My own thoughts on "gun control" are a steady hand, and a good aim.

But, the "CB RAMBO's" on the CB don't always stop with words over the mic. I know of one ocassion when CB RAMBO pulled his truck off behind another truck, and put two pieces of 9MM lead into another driver.

You want to put guns in the hands of drivers? GREAT... Right after you find a way to keep them out of those who will use them without proper disgration, like to end an arguement. If you are not able to determine who will and who won't, then NO GUNS IN TRUCKS.

umm...since I hunt and own 8 firearms, i'd say you can. Even if I couldn't own a firearm, that has nothing to do with the fact that a company policy is a company policy. If a company tells it's drivers no guns in the trucks it means NO GUNS IN THE TRUCKS! There is no federal firearms permit in the US or Canada that would or could exclude an employee from a company's corporate policy.

  Ok Ok you got me. But we all know the gun laws in Canada are pretty lame. They know you have them and they don't like it do they? How much longer do you think you'll own those "8 guns" Got any hand guns? I didn't think so.

You live in Texas...what could you possibly know about Canadian gun laws?? No, I don't own any handguns and again, what does this have to do with my original post??? HAVING A FEDERAL GUN PERMIT DOES NOT GIVE SOMEONE THE RIGHT TO HAVE A GUN IN A TRUCK IF THE COMPANY SAYS NO!!

Which proved my point on what I said on this Endless Thread many moons ago
