Default Not a "FULL MOON", so..............

I've been hearing and reading in the news about school shootings, and students dying.

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/15105984/?GT1=8618

Five in the past month, and three just in the last 7 days. I'm glad my kids are out of school, but, now, I have grandkids in school. You'd almost think they would be safer in IRAQ...

I just made the comment to my wife earlier today about how all this makes a person want to not send their kids to school.

Makes me glad I never even had kids to begin with. It's gotta be tough to be a parent these days- the constant worry.

I worried about my kids going to school and their safety. Not just because of this sort of thing, but also "CHILD ABDUCTION". Well, now they're grown. Still not the end of the concern. Now, I have twice as many grandchildren to worry about. Same thing, different phase.

Does anyone remember that old commercial ..."It's 10 O'Clock, do you know where your children are?"

Who KNEW they meant 10 O'clock in the MORNING????

Actually, at 10 AM, you want to know HOW they are, NOT where....

I see that someone is now proposing that we teach the kids to assault the shooter like a SWAT team or something. Kind of a Flight 93, "Let's Roll" type of thing.

Wonder if they'll get extra credit for that?

I heard that some schools are teaching kids and teachers to throw things at any "assault" type people to distract them. Books, whatever to try to stop a gun? We gotta be doing something wrong - why is this growing?
