I've been hearing and reading in the news about school shootings, and students dying.
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/15105984/?GT1=8618 Five in the past month, and three just in the last 7 days. I'm glad my kids are out of school, but, now, I have grandkids in school. You'd almost think they would be safer in IRAQ...

I just made the comment to my wife earlier today about how all this makes a person want to not send their kids to school.

I see that someone is now proposing that we teach the kids to assault the shooter like a SWAT team or something. Kind of a Flight 93, "Let's Roll" type of thing.
Wonder if they'll get extra credit for that?

I heard that some schools are teaching kids and teachers to throw things at any "assault" type people to distract them. Books, whatever to try to stop a gun? We gotta be doing something wrong - why is this growing?
