Default Another trucker....

OMG- that "To catch a SICKO" on Dateline NBC has another trucker on it- really sad. Actually, I've been half-watching this show, and I think there was another trucker-dude on here. I'm watching it right now- don't know what co. he works for- but he did say it's not his truck...oh, now they just found coccaine in his truck! ( I have to quit watching this.) I just hope this does not make the general public think that all truckers are that way!

My numbers could be off, but I believe that for every one driver that has stuff like that in his truck, there are a thousand that don't even take aspirin. But, to catch that one, we all have to randomly donate our samples in little plastic cups. But, sometimes, it seems like safety picks those of us that will give them good test results.

I saw that. you should have watched the rest when they talked about his criminal past. Theft chages, drug possession, numerious chagres and convictions. Looked an awful lot like a convenant truck. White Volvo with blue and red stripe across side.

Default Yes it was!

Yes it was a Covenant truck. Tell me how a driver with the criminal history he had can get a job with any company? Does bode well for Covenant's hiring practices. Just goes to show you how desperate they are hiring someone like that.

I am wondring if that wasn't a re-run; now I remember in another thread I think someone had said something about a covenant driver on that show- hope I didn't repeat anything. But yeah, how on earth did he get a trucking job w/a history like that???( Maybe that is where Bin Laden is! -who is he driving for again?)

Can we demand equal time? If they're going to show one or two bad apples, can we also get them to show the beneral public how many good people there are in this industry? Or make them tell the public that those bad apples are in the VAST MINORITY??? We are not all like that.

Sure, they could, but why would they? Think about it - it'd be boring tv to watch someone who obeys the law.
