Consider me as a Football team owner would never care if he didn't spend time with his family I don't care as long as he wins games and makes me money.

Yes, I see what you are saying... that's why I put in the thing about a child of his killing a child of yours... because the consequences can be far reaching, and not immediate.

Had to reply when I finally saw this thread. I am sorta wiccan myself (Most of my beliefs come from Spiritualism, but I first started out in wicca). I agree, all religions must be tolerated, however when it starts hurting others for their religious beliefs, THAT is where the line is drawn. Wicca has the perfect statement (One of their core tenants) for this.
An It Harm None, Do What Thou Will

Oh, I didn't know that.
That is a really good statement... not harming can be very important.
Thanks!

Not far from the creed of the satanist:
Do what thou will, that is the whole of the law.

Okay, except the Satanist is a lot more like Bush et al, doing what they want ... the news gave the number of plain, ordinary Iraqi people who are being killed daily at this point and it was huge. That's not good.
I would think the Wiccan would not be able to do a war like that because of the "harm" -- so if that's the case, I sure wish Bush et al would convert.

Perhaps I could have phrased myself a little better, I can see how it might be interpreted the way you did Fozzy. My point being is, is all this concern about a wiccan headstone sincere? Or did everybody just jump on the bandwagon because they recognized an opportunity to thumb their collective nose's at far more established religions like Christianity? Personally I don't consider witchcraft a religion but that's just me.
Oh BTW, I like your feeble attempt at making my lack of concern for this issue into my being uninterested in the fate of Veteran's in general. Being a vet (albeit not a war vet) that would be pretty low on my part. But I got to tell you Fozzy your well deserved reputation as a Christian basher always makes me look for the hypocrisy in just about anything you might have to say in regards to religion. Have a nice day.
