Women Flatbed Drivers??
Hi, Im new to the industry and my recruiter put me up for flatbed. I feel i can do it but just worry if this something a woman can successfully do? Im 5"11 and on the larger size and already handle manual labor.

There are a few women in flatbeds. I usually see them working alongside their spouse or boyfriend. It is physically challenging. There are some short men doing flats. I know one guy who is about 5'5" and weighs over 300 pounds. He earns a good living. I met an older woman several years ago who had pulled flats for many years.

I talked to a female flatbeder a while back and she seemed to like it and said she was doing well. If I had to guess she was about 30 years old and she was in good shape!
