this must be a joke !! ... NO company is going to permit this ... on O/O's may do it ... doubt it thou. The truck only makes money when it's rolling down the road .. no making films for a TV show.

NOT A JOKE! as mitchno1 said, this is great exposure for a company or an o/o. We always get permission for any driver from their parent company, and try to make it a fun experience... I totally understand, drivers are busy and need to make money, we're just trying to make the best TV program showing drivers in the best light!

I did a brief search and there is an Indigo Film Productions. Lindsay, you might find more interest if you could elaborate more on what you would have the drivers do. We have had some who came on this and other trucking forums talking about making films about trucks and most seem to have faded away. I suppose we tend to be a skeptical bunch, as a group. Most drivers who own their trucks are over 35 years old. I understand that you may want to appeal to a younger audience, but you may want to provide more information so that those who might fit your demographic might be able to make a more informed decision. We have more than out share of those who want to show drivers and this industry in a negative light. Perhaps that is why you may find so much skepticism. Good luck to you.
