I know it is very expensive in the UK. I actually have relatives in England, I could stay with, if I wanted too.
I was actually born in England, though I'm a US citizen. I have dual citizenship... Pretty nice to have... :wink: 8) I thought about wanting to live in the UK, it would probably be a toss up between living in the countryside of Scotland, or some quaint country town in whatever is left of rural England. Of course the issue would be the cost of housing, and finding a proper career there. I would like to at the very least visit there before I die... :wink:

But right now I'd settle for hopping in the car and driving to Omaha, Nebraska to go to the Zoo. I miss that place. I lived in Omaha for two years and loved every minute of it!

Well.... since we ARE "dreaming" and if money is no object.....
A week in Belize (Central America) to work on my tan and take in all the water sports like deep sea fishing and Scuba diving. Followed by a week along the coast of California, playing golf at Pebble Beach and hangin' out in Monterey, and seeing the giant Redwoods around Eureka again. Then, up to Alaska for a week of horseback camping in the Denali. Then, over to Britain, just long enough to play the "Olde Course" at St. Andrews. Then a week of skiing in the Alps, followed by another week of watching the sunsets from the beachside bars in Greece. From there, I'd have to fly to Australia for a bit of shrimp on the barbie, and then the customary stop off in Hawaii on the way home! Yeah.... THAT'LL do it!! :lol: :wink:

I have been pretty much everywhere in Canada and the lower 48, but I would like to go roughing it up in the Yukon, that's one place that I would like to see more of. That's my kind of vacation, I like to do a lot of back country camping, and fishing in remote places
I would like to one day go to Scotland and see where my ancestors came from. I would also like to travel to New Zealand. |
