If anything they should be treated with respect, like I was taught growing up and teach my children the same.

I have no respect for any man/boy who treat women like this.
Your mama taught you well......................
I have no respect for men who treat women with like garbage either but I think you missed the point of my post! This is a male dominant field just like construction workers, police officers and pilots. There are good and bad in everything. The point is not every truck driver/trainer is a pervert, male chauvinist, and sexist. When YOU make the choice to enter one of these fields, you have to go to work and deal with the good as well as the bad...not complain about everything negative about men and this industry. Is that a little bit clearer for you since you were the one so offended???

Just like Toxic said men dominate this industry. I understand there are some sick pervs out their but not all of them are trainers or drivers. She also said if you can read glass man: To these emotionally reeling veterans of the current war between the sexes, women trainees are there so they can vent about their wives, their ex-wives, and their girlfriends.
I don't mean as a come-on. These men want a sob sister. Perhaps a widower is the worst.
What does that mean to you Idiot. When I went with my trainer we talked about everything. Ex g/f wife's or just what ever. Its called getting to know the other person. What does war between the sexes mean to you dummy. WOMAN'S RIGHTS. When I was a company driver I met many woman and they didn't have one bad thing to say about their training. That comment that I put in bold for you GLASS MAN is not only a insult to just men in general its a insult to all drivers because if you have ever talked to another driver at a truck stop or where ever mostly its about their wife's at home or whatever. Being away from home for that amount of time is hard on us. But what would you know glass man. If this woman has such a problem she should try a different industry because she is going to be the next whiner that you come across on the CB or at the truck stop. I don't want her sharing the road or the title as a trucker with me or any other of the proud truckers out their.
HEwww.hop.comRE GLASS MAN TRY THIS LINK IT OUT.

WOW! 3 posts and you are already bashing, sounds like to me, you don't like women much! You sound like the wannabe to me! Most drivers are so much of a perv they get up just to see the crack of dawn...lol ( this dawn is not the poster DAWN...lol)
If you don't think women have it rough out here, then you haven't been out here that long!
To tell you the truth, you are the type of driver I don't want to share the road with. I have seen your kind come and go for the last 30 yrs in this business. You guys are always good for a few laughs, then the stupidity just rolls out of that hole in your face...lol

It sounds to me that this thread has been high jacked ...

every time a new female ask this kind or type of question .... there's always a couple of 'boys' that want to start beating on their chest and act like a disrespectful human being ...

this thread was started because a new lady was wanting to search out her options because of something her HUSBAND requested ....
I just graduated from drivers school and am in the process of finding a company to drive for. Out of respect for my husband's wishes, I have agreed to train with a female only.
hummmm ...

Yup that was simple and to the point, and what should have been said in the first place. A little respect goes a long ways.
