Check out local community college for courses. There is also company run courses that are good too. Roehl, Schneider, Swift and several other larger carriers have schools that after you graduate you go on in training and eventually are a driver for the company with your own truck. Please stay away from CDL mills that promise you your CDL in less than 40 hours. Some a 2 day wonders. You owe it to yourself to get the best training possible to start your career out on the right foot. Get good training and your dream of driving will be a reality. Bad training will just become a nightmare. If you want any information on Roehl Transport out of Marshfield, Wisconsin (has terminals in Gary, Atlanta and Marshfield) please PM me and I will answer your questions.
