passing your tests

You might want to check into this link. It's the state of IL website concerning the CDL. It also allows you to download the study guide.
http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/de.../cdl/home.html Can't really tell you what IL rules are, but in TX you are allowed to take your permit and driving tests multiple times. Do you understand the process of how you get your CDL and get a job as a driver?

Yeah, I see the guy driving in and around Ennis quite often. So he gets a number of takers. And yeap its $350 US dollars, he doesn't take that southern stuff.
Who's going to tell the original poster that he's going to be studying his petunia off to pass all the written tests. Then he's going to be practicing his petunia off (if they allow him the time) to pass all the driving tests. Then he's going to have get his pre-hires to companies. Figure out what company he wants to go to , go to their orientation. Then 6 or so weeks with that companies trainer before he gets a truck. Oops, I guess I just told him.
