So, okimar, let me see if I've got this straight. In your very first post on this forum, you lie about who's website it is that you're posting a link to and yet you think people will believe your claims that your product is superior? You're probably right.

There must not be enough work in Michigan to keep the idiots from sharing their hateful stipidity on every blog they can find?
All I did was post a message about a good experience with some batteries that people that are out here can get for $13.99 instead of the $50+ dollars the VXI Corportation would charge and without the delay of having to mail the headset to them and out come the fools... WHATEVER. Grow up and get a job bubba. FOTFLMFAO FOR EVERYONE ELSE: These batteries are listed as working in these headsets: (Cut and pasted from the site) VXI BlueParrott Roadwarrior B250-XT Bluetooth Wireless Headset VXI BlueParrott Roadwarrior B250-XT+ Bluetooth Wireless Headset VXi BlueParrott Xpressway Blue Eagle II BT900 Bluetooth Headset Silverado Blue HS393 Headset

I'm not a guy that goes in for earbuds and headsets and stuff like that. Holding a real phone to my ear is more my style. But with the laws the way they are...
But having said that. I received the XT + model a few weeks ago and I find that I'm using it more and more. I think calls on it sound better than they do on my original Droid although once in awhile the person I'm talking to sounds bassy and muddled. Maybe that's just when reception is weak. I'm not a headset kind of guy and I'm starting to favor it over the naked phone so it must be good. Barf - for a "side by side review" you might like this Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: VXI BlueParrott B250-XT+ Next Generation Improved Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headset for Cell Phones/Computers (203111) and search the page for the word "moron". Funny guy imo and a useful review. Last edited by MichiganDriver; 07-26-2012 at 12:50 PM.

Hi have a friend who just got back into trucking. She called me with the XT and I had no idea she was driving. She said her door was rattling and took off her headset and put it near the door and it was load. I had no idea of it when it was on her head so that is what I'm getting when I get in my truck soon.

on a side note, the Cobra is a piece of crap, I bought and and everyone I talked to said "what's wrong with your phone?" they exchanged it for a new one and same thing. then they exchanged it for the Blue parrot xt and no more complaints.

I have the Blue Parrott.
I don't mind the headset, and the noise filter/reduction is out of this world. I was hooking up my set one night, and I was talking to my wife. The reefer was running on my back trailer when I was hooking up gladhands and stuff on the dolly. She said she could hear clicks and dings but couldn't hear the reefer.

My current phone picks up a lot of background noise. I bought a Motorola blue tooth and there was little difference in the background noise. I have several friends who have the Blue Parrot and that is probably what I will need to buy next time.
