prepaid cell phones

You maybe able to. Unless they run a credit check. Cell phone companies are getting weird these days. If I may ask why wont you pay Nextell?

I had Nextel years ago. Those bastards charged me international roaming when I was still in the USA. I used to live very close to the border and they told me I was using a Mexican cell tower. I grew up right around the corner from the CAD member Sealord. He knows how close we were to the border.

I have been using Net10 for about 3 years now. It is a simple prepaid service. You can get a phone at walmart for around 20 bucks. Its a flat 10 cents per minute all the time. You can buy the cards at walmart and many other places, including some truck stops. Or you can go to net10.com and buy the phone and minutes there. For as little as I use a cell phone, I average around 20 bucks or less per month for my phone. No credit check or contracts of course.
