$400 is cheap compared to what they wanted to charge me for a pair of prescription polarized driving glasses. They were well over $650.

I have owned a pair since mar 06 and only were spotters now. I put my sun glasses on when the sun comes up and take them off when it goes down. I even wear them in the rain and it heps me to see thru the spray.

i checked into them and ya $650 is way to high for a prescription

i just went out and got a pair of prescription glasses with matching polarized driving clips and and pair of polarized sun clips. (had to order the driving clips)

glasses for nite driving,
driving clip's for most day driving sun, rain, snow,
sun clips for realy sunny days driving, boating,
all the clips are polarized and the whole set glasses and clips was $250
and when i need new ones i just get new lenses for the glasses at about $100

and yes as a driver i do have two full sets in the truck at all times. never know when you may break one so i have a backup set.

and WAY less then what it would cost to have prescription glasses and prescription spotters not counting what it would cost to change every year

if you don't NEED prescription glasses they are nice but for $300-$400 a set they are still IMHO to high. we've seen good polarized 3X sunglasses for around $30 on the FL turnpike.
