Job Description
AWF Transport is currently seeking a Class A CDL Driver for a long haul route. Driver is responsible for transporting and dropping off materials in a professional manner. This is accomplished by using company vehicles and equipment to deliver material in a safe and timely manner.
Our drivers are paid .43 - .50 per mile plus $15.00 per stop.
Essential Functions
• Drive Safely
• Meet pickup and drop off times
• Strapping/Unstrapping loads
• Maintain driving logs
Qualifications
• Maintain a Class A CDL with at least 12 months of Tractor/Trailer experience in the last three years.
• Clean MVR
• Comply with all DOT rules and regulations
• Successfully pass DOT physical.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Communication Proficiency
• Safety Knowledge and Skills
• Dependable
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is either in an enclosed truck or exposed to outdoors while loading and unloading materials. Outdoor temperatures may include very hot or very cold temperatures. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, diesel fuel, exhaust, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Occasionally exposed to bright or dim lighting conditions. May have to get into cramped positions to reach work spaces, such as the back of a truck. Sometimes deal with sounds or noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Work close to others, especially when unloading/loading trucks.

The employee is required to be able to remain in a normal seated position for prolonged periods of time, talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move heavy items.

This is a full-time position. Hours vary by load and location of pick up/delivery.
