Job Description: Class A Driver Needed

Immediate opening for a Truck Driver with a CDL Class ”A” License to drive a Peterbuilt Toter Home to 23-25 events a year. Trips are 3-5 days at a time followed by 2-3 days at home. Most of August, November and December are off. Some winter driving would be needed. Duties:
-Properly operate Peterbuilt Toter Home and Trail in a safe reliable manner
-Performs driver preventative maintenance checks and services
-Maintain driving hours and logs
-Pass and report vehicle inspections while en route with cargo
-Assist with load in and load out at events
-Knowledge of show, entertainment or sound is a plus
-Physically secures cargo for transport using appropriate blocks and tie down
-Arizona or California as a home base is a plus but not required

-No alcohol related offenses or positive drug screens in the past five year

Thank you for the message repete, our post is not meant to offend. Pay can be negotiated based on the driver and needs but the position is salary but travel is less than half of the year. Our drivers in the past have even worked other jobs as the time off permits. Of course all of this would be discussed with candidates as our needs are a little different then the average drive. Hope this clears a few things up.
