Default Air dryer sneezes all the time

I have a 2000 Freightliner FLD with an air dryer.

It is supposed to sneeze every time the compressor pumps up air to required pressure. Not that often.

However, now, it sneezes very often, like every minute.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the culprit here?

Thanks

I would start with the governor. I just put one on for about $15. My experience has been that when a governor goes bad they usually continue leaking air. If changing the governor doesn't work, I would check the pressure relief valve. It should be located on your air compressor. Once the blow, the valve usually needs to be replaced. A faulty pressure release valve is sometimes thought to be the air dryer. I think the last time I had to replace a pressure release valve it cost about $35.
