Default kenworth traction control

any one no of way to disable this device properly .problem is you have button to push to so call disable it for when you off road to stop engine derating when wheels spin but it still happens ,cummins here dont know yet whats going on or so they say.just wonder if any of you had the problem or no of technician who mite find out.it a pain in the arse you just get going and try to pull the revs and it derates even when getting towed ,not go above 1500revs

Not sure how to disable it but it can be done. The KW 660 I used to drive would engage that system at the worst time. Not very safe in my opinion. There might be a connection to a sensor on the suspension so when there's enough lean one way or the other, it engages.

There could be a fuse you could pull. If there isn't one for the traction system pull the one for the ABS, since the traction system uses the ABS system to detect wheel spin. No guarantees but give it a shot.

thanks guys will track down fuses or sensors and try them .have tried switching abs off as well but that dosnt seem to help so will disable the lot if i can
