I found a pair of cleaners off a 89 w900 and they might be a perfect fit and old school cool. Any body know if this is a bad idea or not? They use the same filter but have a different looking top on them

I'd check to see if they service from the bottom or top and if yours are the same. They may be easier to service one way or the other, i.e. mirrors in the way or fuel tanks ?
As long as their stanless steel I wouldn't care if they were from an older truck. My 01 was ordered with bullet style cab lights, low back seats, old style gauges, etc , etc. The guy I bought it from would have put a 5&4 in it but his wife wouldn't let him. Said she wouldn't be able to sell it if he died. So it got an 18 speed... |
