cruise control help

Default cruise control help
went to go set my coast on cruise control, and it set but it kept accelerating like i had my foot on the pedal??? might i add that the resume acc button does nuthing now??? and u know how when u sey cruise u feel ur fuel pedal engage?,,, it doesnt do that either.........ne help??

I would replace the switch. I just had my jake switch go bad and it was only $5.00 for a new one. I think that would be a cheap try at fixing the problem before going to a dealer.

thanks for the text message, i love re-reading a sentence several times because it's written in internet code ;0)


when you toggle 'coast', the vehicle should decel. if it accels then the ecm is receiving a crossed signal ; bad switch, harness, or ecm. look at the back of the switch/connector

where are the cruise control switches? Steering wheel or dash?

sorry about that when i press the coast button it just stops accelerating until i let up off it then it keeps accelerating,,,,, but funny thing its been working today??? just fine


and ALLAN5OH......mine are on the dash(f8liner century class)

Did you check the ground for the computer?
I had an injector problem that turned out to be a poor ground for the computer.
