Just curious....have you tried the newer freon? its still the 134 but it is supposed to cool quicker and colder. I'm not sure of the name brand of it, but will try to find out soon and get back to you.I purchased mine at Advance Auto and it definitely does get colder.

Are you talking about a refrigerant called; hot shot.

It is called Arctic Cool and it is available at Advance Auto Stores
