Default 2001 W900 A/C question

Is there a filter on this A/C system where the air is drawn to the evaporator ?
Thanks for any info.

I have a shop manual that's a bit generic, and it doesn't say anything about a filter.

I did ad one of those aftermarket filters that goes over the air intake grill.

A friend has a 2000 Pete and he said it has a removable filter that can be cleaned.
I think some of the newer trucks also have a filter for fresh air for the heat and A/C.
