thats a new sys to me if the -o- ring are the same size top & bottom. mine are 2 different sizes. small on top & large on bottom. looking at the davco websight, i dont see a fuel filter sys that would require 2 of the same -o- rings. is yours a davo ?

i replaced both seals that came with fuel filter, i think there is another seal at the very bottom near the drain valve , you have to unsrew black thingy :lol:

right!!!! that is what i was talking about. that would be the bigger -o- ring.. :lol: i think you'll have a small -o- ring at top a rubber gromet at bottom of filter & big -o- ring at bottom. make sure you replace bottom -o- ring in correct position. just look at where it is before removing & to fillwith clean diesel after putting back together. you can fill all way or 1/2 way dont matter, but if you drain all out & dont put any back in. it will start & then die out until it can suck enough fuel to get going again. do it once & you'll nevr forget.

yeah i did, i know now to always be careful when it comes to ur fuel filter.....i once drained it all the way down, and didnt put any back in, 4got then tried to start truck the next morning
