Default IN-FRAME

What is normally done in an "In Frame" rods, mains & oil pump? anything else? I see alot of trucks advertised 900,000 mi. with 200,000 on an " in frame". I'm sure that lower bearings help with that kind of mileage but what about the crank itself? it could be pretty rough. I know cam bearings don't wear that much but after a million miles I'd think they would need some attention too.lets' not forget pistons, rings. heads and injector pump
I'm sure that I'm not the only one wondering about this

In-frame is usually new liners, pistons, rings, bearings, both main and rod, recon cylinder head, new fluids, gaskets filters, and thats about it.

Turbo and injectors are ususally NOT included in the inframe price, BUT can be changed at the same time (recomended).

Cat injectors are $600 each.

ok, that makes more sense, thanks for the response. 6 bills apiece for injectors that would add up quik

Not sure of other newer (electronic) engines but a 60 series detroit has the cam in the head so the reconditioned head would include new cam bearings and a cam that was at least inspected. Older mechanical engines did not usually get new cam bearings on an inframe and that was one good reason to do an out-of-frame. I've heard that a well done inframe on a 60 series is as good as an out-of frame...
