Default C15 BRIDGE ENGINE

I had a 550 Acert before, didn't like it, now I have a 01 C15 550, pulls good with the wastegate hose pinched. I will be in a 550 bridge soon, what can I expect for power? cpu regulated wastegate, catalytic mufflers. What else can you tell me?

They're yellow... don't pinch off the line.

I just started to move into my new ride, found out it's an 03 C15  Last year of the good ones! What did you mean Bob, when you said not to pinch the wastegate hose? P.S. Cat finely has a fix for the rocker arms! only took 5 years.

blocking waste gate actuator hoses will cause the turbo to; overspeed, overboost, and self-destruct. the cause of the failure is easily determined and voids engine warranty.

how much boost? how low do you lug it?

cooler pyro means lower NOx emissions.

the problem isn't manifold temps or pollution - it's overspeeding the turbo.

'03 still has warranty?

Warranty, ? 11000 hr's I don't lug too much, 18 speed. Sometimes I have to lug to get over the top of a hill "barefoot" about 37 lbs boost, set at 550 hp. I just got into this truck... normally a 550 is about 30 lbs boost. I've seen my pyro at about 1150  lugging, 850 whith the wastegate pinched. ???
