Default Gasket leak on the jake brake

I have found a leak or seep in the gasket/cover on the rear portion of our jake brake. Its on a 2000 N-14 cummins. Was just wondering if that's an easy fix by replacing the gasket or will I get into more than I bargained for if I try to replace it myself???

It's an easy fix. Just remove the valve cover and the jake and put it back together with new gaskets. Technically, you're supposed to use a special feeler gauge to set the lash on the jake. If you don't have that feeler gauge, I wouldn't worry about it. The adjustment probably won't change at all.
