You can also try LCT out of Okahumpka, haul alot of folage and maybe Florida Food Tankers, I think the oldest orange juice hauler in FL. They are in Lake Wales.
Sorry can't tell you much about the pay or any other details. |
I would go with Con-way/CFI out of that state. Con-way always has frieght going there and leaving.

you are full of it piece! As a solo Florida had very little coming out of Florida at CFI. Quit trying to recruit and tell the truth for once. Forget about your little recruiting contest. We get some good freight going into Florida but coming out can be a problem. I have yet to hear of Con Way freight coming out. As a team we do get some freight coming out but usually it is a deadhead to Bama or Georgia. As a solo I restarted there quite a bit. Not that Florida is a bad place to restart but I haven't found a place on Hwy 1 yet that allows big truck parking on the beach. I am still looking into that one though.

Try DTL in Sanford FL. They run NE and back to FL....you are home most weekends.

World, I totally agree. Piece always barges into a thread, tells everyone about his recruiting site and hardly ever contributes anything positive to the topic. All in the name of a Yukon Contest... |
Try Trailerbridge, based in Jacksonville practically across from Jaxport. They haul containers from all over back here to load on a barge for Puerto Rico.My Dh makes about 2800 miles a week, home weekends and good benefits.

I Agree. They are down the street from us in Sanford, have nice trucks and the phone number is (407) 330-3980 or 1-800-991-9940 |

Not to be "argumentative", but as one who lives in FL....and drove for CFI, I can honestly say that after my time off at home.... I never waited long to get a load out of the state.
In truth, only on one occasion did I wait a day for a load. I normally got assigned a load within an hour or two of going on the board. Sometimes I was deadheaded out of the state to as far away as SC. Did I care? NO! I got paid the same empty or loaded. They could have deadheaded me to Maine, Minnesota, or California.... and it wouldn't have bothered me a bit. I have seen more than just a few Red Racers in FL....more than in years past. So their freight base has to have improved there. If they don't have a load going out right away....its alot like being "anywhere". You use the time to reset, rest, shop...or whatever. Right? 8) |
