I may post more Texas info next weekend. I have to leave this afternoon to get to a rig in Ft Worth.
1 great thing is making real friends. There will be 4 more TMC drivers at the same rig tonight for unload tomorrow 7am and they are all good friends.
It's hard to get on Texas Dedicated and drivers are always told that their is a waiting list.... just be persistant. It's hard work and long hours and we turn over lot's of drivers into linehaul.
Just be prepared for 18-20 hour days.

1 more thing for all TMC newbies. When you get your own truck in DSM they will plug in your truck get reset mpg, idle, etc.... in that bay ask them to put your name on your truck.
I have my name on my truck.

If you get your name on your truck it just makes it easier for the 4 wheelers that you give the finger to blow you in. ;)

Hey guys... I just arrived in Burlington, and whoa... this motel is nice... wifi is mad fast... I'll be updating things, as i go along, and i'mma try to make a website out of this whole experience... although it's gonna be hard to top you guys.. :D Anyways. tomorrow is the first day of my new life... Driving 1100 miles in a day sure was a bitch though...

I'll begin my orientation on January 2nd. I wanted a bit of time to straighten out all the little things at home between now and then, so I can focus 100% on my job once I get to Des Moines. I can't wait!
