First full year at Superior Carriers is complete...

And what a helluva enjoyable ride it has been! As I've stated before, every system/O.T.R. driver here has the capabiility and potential to make this kind of money or more depending on how hard they choose to work, as we are all paid the same regardless of experience. And the hometime isn't shabby either!

Now to hopefully explain anything anyone questions. The hours I have listed is all paid time I have gotten concerning work. This includes all time spent during initial road training, loading/unloading, dropping/hooking empty tanks, layover, breakdown, local work, getting fittings and/or my truck's pump washed out, and holiday pay. As I've stated before, Superior pays us for everything we do short of fueling the truck and our daily vehicle inspections. I'm looking forward to continue driving here for many years. Y'all take care and have fun!

Week 52-30
-Markham, IL (hook clean tank)
-Markham, IL to Millsdale, IL (live load)
-Millsdale, IL to Rexdale, ONT, CAN (customer unload)

Yep, Cyanide's goofing off....TWO week of vacation, paid and all....and he's only been with Superior ONE year!! He is definitely the Grand Poobah of Slackers!!! No, he's not special....we all get two weeks of paid vacation after the first year

I'll be taking mine in a couple of months. I hired on here after making him my guinea pig....he had to be here over 90 days and still sound happy, or I wasn't going to make any changes.... Well, I've been here since last October and have no plans of going anywhere else. Color me HAPPY!!

hey cyanide i noticed that you went to the springfield terminal a while back, that was my home terminal when i lived in ct. john the dispatcher there is the best ive dealt with period. mike the terminal manager is a great guy also, i owe alot to those guys. i am now livin in orlando and was transfered to carry in lakeland. boy do i miss the otr stuff, this local stuff is not exactly my bread and butter. i really miss doing the chemical side of things as im not keen on this foodgrade stuff. the guys im working with now are great but i really miss my superior carriers job. another thing i hate is this daycab truck i have now. i am now helping out the decatur al terminal till friday and they got me in this nice hotel, i cant complain here. everybody is so nice which is typical of working for sbl. i still love my job its just not what im used to. anyways i am now officially jealous of you and skywalker. when i got my fl license they made me take the hazmat and fingerprinting process all over again which i didnt understand but im not givin up my hazmat. hope everything is well for you.

Joel

FL just wanted your money!! I did mine, and had my letter in less than 7 days....I think its all about the money..... :P I gotta remember to turn in my receipt and get my money back....

I think I missed meeting you last week or so. I asked about you downstairs and they said you were due in soon....I waited a little while but I had to get down to the Tampa Tankwash to get my tank and head up to Garden City. Maybe next time!!

Hello everybody!

Just dropping in to say hi from vacation briefly. Things are well in my camp.

Joel, I know that Baby Bullseye makes slightly less $$$ than I do but she runs more regional, almost like a super local runner. I don't know how a true local runner for Carry does though. Sorry to hear about the rough edges you're feeling right now. I hope it improves for you.

I'll update my numbers and everything later on, gotta go run and get last minute stuff for my son before school starts back tomorrow . Y'all be safe and have fun!
