Default Boise Cascade Trucking

Anyone other than me finding companies like BCT (Boise Cascade Trucking) who are paying .93 to .95 cents per mile! Although I realize that is for pulling a 53' dry van. It is also for transporting their own paper roll products with no brokers. BCT told me they had operators out of the WA yard that were hauling I-5 for .88 cents! I am trying to figure out how an owner operator can run a truck for those prices. I know I can't, because I was stupid enough to try. I started driving many years ago for those kind of prices. How do companies like this continue to survive doing this and why would they haul there own products for these kind of wages? Just blows my mind. The once proud company with such a rich tradition in trucking has slumped to such a low point. To bad I was so excited to go to work for what I thought would be such a great company only to end up being so dissapointed. Since leaving they manged to hold well over a thousand dollars from my last settlement. And how fair is that! Just thought I would share some thoughts with some other drivers.
