hi guys and gals I'm new to the forum and almost new to the industry ,I'm testing for my cdl class A in a week (12-27-2011) and i was wondering if I could hear some pros and cons fro Knight Transportation . than you all in advance and keep truckin:smokin:

 

I worked for Knight for about 3 1/2 months and grossed less than $7k. You sit a lot because they sell off perfectly good trailers while you sit because you can't find one. Then they make you sit around all weekend and tell you to deliver this local load to get an empty on Monday. The pay rate is very low. Don't buy that "sliding scale" nonsense. That is a fancy word for sliding you the shaft because you aren't going to make any money. I had to threaten to call the D.O.T. before they would fix things wrong with the truck...after I kept writing it up. I'd stay far away from that company!
