Default Part-time gigs in the mountain state areas.

It's a little early, but I just wanted to know what sort of companies existed in either NM, UT, CO, or NV that had part-time schedules and ran in primarily those areas.
I've mentioned wanting to relocate away from CA a few times and was looking into moving out to a small city/town in these areas primarily for school and such.

So I take it that it's probably dead out there.

Check careerbuilder.com, monster, and local newspapers.

It's better if I had actual feedback from locals.
Monster usually lists things far away from the actual area I'm trying to look up and the local newspaper websites already have their "employment classifieds" linked into that god-awful site.

I put in a search for some place as common as SLC and it will give me results for San Diego or some other place I don't really care for.

You can look for fuel haulers, milk, grocery distributor, food service, mail. There usually seem to be part time flatbed jobs sometimes hauling steel or building materials. Private carriers are a great place to find part time work. You can check Penske logistics, Ryder logistics, worldwide dedicated services (ups's logistics division ), ruan.

Ruan sounds like a good pick, plenty of dairies and other food-grade related freight in the rural CO, UT, NV, and NM areas.
As for the newspapers, I'm just going to hit up the newsstands in the small towns I happen to roll through.
