Default How's USXpress lately?

I'm in the market for a new job and was considering going back to USX. Was just wondering how the general OTR freight is doing there. I won't even consider doing one of their "Dollar" accounts.

man I'll tell you what. I had the fastest USX truck smoke my A Z Z today. I was headed SB on I-17 from Flagstaff to PHX. Just south of Camp Verde on that big climb, he came past me doing at least 70+ up that hill. I was empty holding my own at 60 but this dude has some kind of power.

Hmmm - either there's no one driving for USX on here any more, or they just don't want to say what their experience has been like lately there.

I contacted them a few months back and was told they were only hirring drivers that would accept a team postion or a lease deal at that time. This was the Tunnel Hill Ga. location. Maybe that has changed by now.

Tried getting on with them back in November, but no dice due to my concurrent predicament.
However, they keep sending me emails and letters even after the turndown.

Teases.

I don’t know about company drivers but one of my buddies is a lease operator for them. I talk to him probably 3 or 4 times a week and I can tell you that he never sits. For the most part they keep him rolling. He never slowed down in January and February either.

I gave them a call today. They're hiring drivers out of WV now (which has been awhile since they've done that). Just waiting on them to see if I can be rehired. I should know by tomorrow afternoon. I talked to a couple of their O/O's and they both said that they're running their tails off - averaging 3000-3500 miles every week.
