Companies hiring in North Carolina....
Hi, Folks!
I did a search, but didn't find specifically what I was looking for. My question is if someone here knows of/works for/ or recruits for companies that are based in North Carolina. It's been fun where I presently am, but this "company subsidizing" is killing my pocket! I still can't afford my beloved CAD sticky thing!! And I'm certain I've missed meeting some of you because of it!! Ahem... Anyway, does anyone know of any companies that are currently hiring in the Winston Salem, NC area? Thanks in advance... Jewels

Ummmmmmm. No,,,,ya haven't. Hehehehe. You're just lucky you're a "girl"...or I mighta HA'ed you about looking harder! Now........Some of those outfits are better than others. If you do not mind hauling fuel.....start there. That will be steadier work. EPES has a "nick-name". It is......... Every Empty on Sunday......... Got that from a driver! Caldwell Freight and Sun Belt Furniture....are both furniture carriers, as their primary. The LTL companies....well they are LTL companies.... IF you manage to find a decent job with one of them...let me know. I get into that area frequently....and damn sure like coffee!

Thank you for not roughing me up! And thanks, again, for that list! I'm glad to know you love coffee--it's a sure 'nuff bet, then! W., I'm going to apply to most every one of them--except for the ones where I'd have to buff up like Ah-nold... I'd like to keep what's left of my girl-ish figure!! Jewels P.S., I'm sort of scared of the idea of yankin' a tank, what with the rollover risk they're known for, but I'm willing to take a shot at it if it'll let me buy Orange some joe!!

None of these companies are hiring....and those who do are not worth a paper they placed their ad on.
They all place advertisements in the book but when you try to apply then you get the real truth about driver shortage. |
