Where are you located?

I once drove for a short time with a Wolfe Trucking out of Van Nuys, CA.
Stay away from them if you want to live or be healthy.
The owner has the habit of being the dispatch as well.
No directions are really given to consignees/shippers, no Qualcomm, but will still satellite monitor the truck and scream at you if you stop in an "unauthorized area" for a mere second, then when you're getting business done in town, he'll bug you over the phone to get back to the yard.

If this is another "Wolfe", then whoops!!

The other company I don't know so much about.

 

Yes Bentstrider that's the company I'm thinking about. Thanks for the info on them. I wasn't sure anyone knew about them just working out of one terminal in Van Nuys. I will definately stay away from them! Thanks!

 

What's your driving record look like?

If it's good, then stick to the big boys, Wolfe was primarily an outlaw outfit where those with more accidents/violations than one could handle headed off too.

Myself? I've got one more year of the "three year" wait period.

 

Hey Bentstrider thanks for info. Yes I do have an excellent driving record. I will stay away from Wolfe. Sounds like a horror show. It sucks that good drivers have to be treated like that. Thanks again and I hope your last year goes quickly!
