Default Sitton Motor Lines

Hello, All~
Anyone have experience with this company? I'm doing the app process with them and would like to hear from either recent or current employees.

What was your impression of the corporate culture? The dispatching policies?

If all goes well, I'll finally have a truck to put my CAD sticker on, again! Thank God...

Jewels

(Jumbo, I'm really gonna need my belt buckle, soon. I got a wedding to go to! )

That's right.... they are shutting down. Too bad. It was a really good company back when D.L. Sitton had a fall out with the owners of CFI, so he left as president there and went down the street and formed up Sitton Motor Lines. Was a good company till he died and the boys took over. Heard nothing good after that.

As is the case in most instances. It's kind of sad, really.

Interesting.. as Sitton Motors of Joplin, Mo ALWAYS made the top 10 list of SignPost Survey of TOP DRIVER PAYING COMPANIES!

Seems that actually Paying your drivers WELL is a bad business practice, resulting in BANKRUPTCY.. damn shame.

Getting harder to find a honest & fair company these days.
