Can anyone give an updated info on Henderson Trucking? I have seen some info but the info is a bit dated.

Anyone an O-O with them?

My dad works dedicated for them. I know they pulled in 100 solo drivers about 3 weeks ago and told them they either had to go team, lease a truck from them, or go home. Not a good sign. I worked for them and liked them (dedicated run) but never talked to any o/o's. Lease deal isn't any good, though.

A little over 2 months ago guys who were running solo with Henderson were turning 3000 mile weeks every week. This was after things started to go bad. I don't know what the deal is now with them. Dad talked to his dispatcher, and he said they picked up some new team contracts so they were needing teams bad. He claims thats why they did this to those drivers. Dad doesn't buy it... One of the guys I know who was turning 3000 mile weeks quit about 2 weeks ago and went to work for Ozark and likes them pretty good.

I work for them. Up until about 8 weeks ago things were doing ok. All of a sudden the bottom fell out. Not enough miles for all the drivers, they force you to run team. The only reason I have escaped the forced teaming is the fact I am a female. Otherwise I would bet you I would have been forced to do it. I was asked, but nicely, and I said no, not interested. That was the end of it. That said, I do what I am asked to do, take anything they give you, even if it's only 50 miles down the road, shuffle trailers, whatever. All in all my money is still there.

The developments do worry me. I was home last weekend after I emptied out in St. Louis, and again since yesterday. I am under a load though, but it won't deliver to Monday. I went the long way thru STL because of the time on the load, they tried to keep me rolling, but nada. It's all right, but things are very much not as they were.

I think they are paying for their sins of the past. All the disorganization is kicking them in the rear end, and for my own sake, I do need a job, I hope they can get out of it.

I don't think I would come here, considering they are trying their best to lease you the truck. They bought a whole bunch of Cascadias at the end of the year, I guess that bill is kind of high, so why not find a sucker to pay for it?

And the sad thing is that people will do it.

of course it may happen that a man and a woman team, that are not related or married or whatever. But only with the consent of both drivers.

There is NO WAY I am just going to team with some random guy. They can't force me to do that without opening themselves up to a lawsuit.

I don't blame you. I'm a guy and I would not just team up with some random guy.
