Default Witte Bros Interview

Just got hired at Witte Bros in Troy, MO. Two part interview. First was a phone interview, then a week later an interview at their office. Very nice people. Prior to this I drove out to their offices and talked with a driver there. He was only one of 165, but he was quite enthusiastic about the company. Class starts in two months, six weeks long, which includes the CDL. Overall I'm very happy with the experience so far.

If anyone is interested, they run new Peterbilt 387s with Cummins ISX engines and 13-spd transmissions. They still have some Volvos, but they're being phased out for all-Peterbilts.

Saw a Witte truck about an hour ago. it was a Pete 386, Charcoal in color. Looked pretty decent..even with the refer behind it.

Six weeks later and training complete! Passed my CDL test yesterday in Hannibal MO. Great job by Andrew Rogers, our instructor. The course material was up to date and relevant to the job. Missouri will reimburse the cost ($650) as an educational expense. On the road next week!
